Sonic Philosophy
Analog Heart,
Digital Soul

We bridge the gap between vintage analog warmth and contemporary digital precision. By replicating a complete vintage analog signal chain in its totality within a pristine modern digital environment, we offer the best of both worlds—the rich, harmonically complex character of classic records paired with the flawless workflow, recall, and accuracy of modern technology.

The Live Room
Designed for high-energy rehearsals, live sessions, and events, our Live Room at Aegis Production balances professional acoustic control with natural resonance to create an inspiring, vibrant environment for every performer. The space is anchored by a fully carpeted floor for optimized absorption and customizable dynamic RGB lighting that allows you to instantly dial in the perfect visual tone for any mood or production. This sonic foundation is complemented by a high-fidelity signal chain featuring an Efnote 5 electronic drum kit for authentic feel, a versatile Yamaha keyboard for melodic layering, and the Allen & Heath CQ-18T digital mixer, which acts as the intelligent command center for all inputs. Together with the integrated Behringer PA speakers, this suite of equipment ensures that your monitoring and playback remain pristine, providing a cohesive, turn-key professional experience that turns the room into a complete performance ecosystem ready for tracking, jamming, or live streaming.
Efnote 5 Electronic Drum Kit
Serving as the centerpiece of our Live Room, the Efnote 5 offers the physical presence and authentic tactile response of a premium acoustic drum kit combined with high-definition multi-channel acoustic sampling. It gives drummers a natural feel without overwhelming the room's acoustic boundary.
Allen & Heath CQ-18T Digital Mixer
The central brain of the Live Room setup. This ultra-compact digital mixer handles complex routing with high-grade preamps and FPGA processing, providing effortless multitrack handling and instantaneous monitoring adjustments for every musician in the room.
Behringer PA Speaker System
A trio of versatile, high-output PA speakers configured specifically for flexible stage monitoring or room fills, ensuring clear, high-fidelity sound distribution during heavy jam sessions and live rehearsals.
Yamaha PSR-E473 Keyboard
A feature-packed performance keyboard stationed permanently in the Live Room for quick songwriting, live rehearsals, and versatile performance needs, offering a vast array of high-quality instrument voices and dynamic synth controls.

The Control Room
Designed as a singular, cohesive ecosystem where acoustic precision meets an uncompromising tactile workflow. By integrating strategic acoustic treatment to flatten the room’s response and ensure a perfectly balanced listening position, I have created a space where critical mix decisions are made with absolute consistency and confidence. This environment is built to bridge the gap between inspiration and technical execution, flowing seamlessly from the high-fidelity capture of the Warm Audio WA-67 tube microphone and the real-time, low-latency DSP processing of the Universal Audio Apollo Twin X, through to a hands-on production suite featuring dedicated MIDI controllers, the SSL UF1 for deep DAW and automation integration, and the surprisingly powerful Adam Audio D3V monitors. Everything in this room—from the hardware signal path to the physical control surfaces—is intentionally calibrated to function as one unified instrument, removing technical friction so that artists and engineers can remain entirely focused on the creative process within a space that is as accurate as it is enjoyable to inhabit.
Warm Audio WA-67 Tube Condenser Microphone
Based on the classic 1960s pentode tube circuit, the WA-67 captures the legendary sound of rock-and-roll history. It adds natural warmth, rich harmonic saturation, and a smooth top-end that makes vocals and acoustic instruments sound larger than life before any processing is applied.
Slate Digital ML-1 Modeling Microphone
Dubbed our "Magic Mic," the ML-1 is an ultra-linear, flat-response microphone paired with advanced virtual modeling technology. It gives us the power to model over 20 iconic vintage tube and ribbon microphones in post-production, offering ultimate tone-shaping flexibility for your mix.
Universal Audio Apollo Twin X Gen 2 Quad
The heart of our recording setup features UA’s Unison technology, which physically reconfigures the hardware preamp’s input impedance to match classic analog gear. Powered by real-time DSP, it allows zero-latency tracking through world-class vintage analog channel strips without taxing computer resources.
Solid State Logic (SSL) UF1 Control Surface
Bringing the feel of a large-format SSL console to our compact setup, the UF1 delivers precise motor-fader control and deep visual feedback for plugin parameters and metering, keeping our focus on the music rather than the computer screen.
Arturia MiniLab 3 MIDI Controller
A compact, tactile keyboard controller integrated into the workstation to streamline synth programming, virtual instrument navigation, and rapid music production ideas.
ADAM Audio D3V Studio Monitors (with Sonarworks Sound ID Calibration)
Engineered for ultimate accuracy in intimate control rooms, these active desktop monitors feature ADAM's iconic ribbon tweeters. We run active Sonarworks Sound ID room correction hardware-DSP calibrated directly inside the Apollo system, providing a ruler-flat frequency response at the listening position with zero latency and zero risk of accidental master-bus printing.
